The second love letter dress from Clarey to Dalee. Designed to envelop your body in sweet reminders, this dress not only tells stories but is extremely flattering to the female form and does not compromise on comfort.

Made in our signature stretch organic cotton, with hand screen printed artwork, the fabric feels soft, yet solid and durable. Comfortable enough to wear everyday but special enough to take to that fancy event.

With a wide wrap, which won’t flap open as you walk, we’ve thought much about how to make this dress practical for daily wear. Stretchy ties which can be simply tied at the front, or all the way around if thats your style, won’t dig in or restrict you from moving.

Initially, Clarey was reluctant to design a wrap dress, thinking they were fussy and annoying to wear, but she persevered and discovered you can make a wrap that not only has the beauty of the style, but also won’t require endless adjusting and checking you’re covered.

With a reasonably low neckline, this dress gives just the right amount of sexy, while most of you is elegantly draped in magical, comfy art fabric.

The flutter sleeve lets air in, while covering the upper arm so many women choose to have protected.

Side splits which end just below the knee give a lovely amount of air flow into the skirt, making it extremely pleasant to wear.

Our signature deep pockets, of course, take this dress from a little bit fancy schmancy to everyday practical.

This is certainly an investment piece and we know it. We trust that this timeless dress will be loved and lived in and passed down or on, as an heirloom.

Burdock and Bird

Our Nature and Nurture Print. The story...

A simple moment in time captured to celebrate Dalee's relationship to the beautiful eastern honeyeater and the magical burdock plant. This design is also a nod to the healing power in the process of making art to connect.

We cut & sewed our debut collection in our small Lismore studio using our hands only. Our first collection sold out within hours, so we partnered with makers in Melbourne and Northern NSW to bring our pieces to life.

We are actively changing the fast fashion paradigm by choosing local manufacturing over cheaper offshore factories. We believe in inspiring others to do the same.

We tick the three big boxes:
Our knit fabric is made in Australia ✔️
Our screen-printing is done by a wife-husband duo in Melbourne, Australia ✔️
Our cutters and sewers are based in Collingwood, Australia ✔️

This is extremely rare. Clothing made locally, ethically with strong environmental values and NO waste.

Beautiful flutter sleeves to cover the upper arm while letting in lots of air. Flexible and comfortable sizing with the stretch ties. Side splits for air flow.

Bust is the most important measurement here. It is fairly low cut, so consider sizing up if you have a bigger bust for more coverage.

Bust: 96cm
Waist: 78cm
High Hip: 96cm
Low Hip: 101cm

From shoulder to hem approx 145cm

This fabric is roughly 210gsm in weight and the high level of ink coverage adds extra thickness, hand feel and dimension.

Softens up quickly.

We know this fabric lasts a very long time.

Expect this print to have a tacky feel at first as it's a light colour on a dark base, it uses a lot of ink. We assure you this softens with body heat, and further again with the first wash, becoming wonderfully soft, yet sturdy.

The print will also crack when stretched out, but will come back once the tension is released. On areas where the fabric is under constant stretch, the cracking will remain. We however, love the look of this as it gives in an extra patina which works so perfectly with the lino prints. We love that the fabric develops character.

This fabric is wonderfully easy to care for! Just make sure you don't leave your piece on the line in the sun for a long time. Continued UV exposure will fade the organic dyes.

We recommend drying in the shade. When your piece needs a deep clean, hang it in the sun i
